This Seller Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which sellers can list and sell their products on AlliesFeed. By selling on our platform, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Eligibility to Sell
- To become a seller on AlliesFeed, you must:
- Be a registered user of AlliesFeed.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your name, address, and other required details.
- Ensure that the products listed comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including intellectual property rights, health and safety standards, and import/export regulations.
- Agree to pay the applicable platform fees and adhere to our policies.
2. Product Listing Guidelines
- Categories:
- Sellers are permitted to list products in the following categories: Courses, Books, Health and Beauty, Art and Craft.
- All listings must be categorized appropriately.
- Product Description:
- Provide clear, accurate, and detailed descriptions of the products, including dimensions, materials, usage instructions, and any potential allergens or warnings.
- Use high-quality images that accurately represent the products.
- Pricing:
- Set competitive prices that reflect the quality of the product and market standards.
- Prices must be in INR.
- Stock Availability:
- Keep stock updated and accurate. If an item is out of stock, mark it accordingly.
- Pre-orders must be clearly indicated in the listing and communicated to the buyer.
3. Fees and Payments
- Platform Fees:
- A 10% fee will be charged on each sale to cover platform maintenance costs.
- Any applicable taxes will be deducted from the sale amount.
- Payment Methods:
- Payments to sellers will be made via bank transfer.
- Sellers must provide accurate payment details to receive funds.
- Payments will be processed on a monthly basis.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping Charges:
- Sellers are responsible for setting their own shipping rates and policies.
- Clearly communicate shipping costs and delivery times in the product listings.
- Ensure that all items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- International Shipping:
- Currently, AlliesFeed does not support international shipping. All sales must be within India.
- Delivery Times:
- Sellers are expected to dispatch items within 2–3 business days after receiving an order.
- Sellers are responsible for tracking orders and resolving any delivery issues directly with the courier.
5. Refund and Return Policy for Sellers
- Return Requests:
- Handle return requests professionally and in accordance with the AlliesFeed Refund and Return Policy.
- Accept returns or exchanges for defective items or items that do not match the description.
- Refunds will be processed through bank transfer; the funds will be deducted from the seller’s next payout.
- Cancellation Requests:
- You may cancel an order before it has been processed or shipped. However, canceling after processing may lead to penalties.
- Inform the buyer immediately and provide an alternative solution or refund as needed.
6. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
- Product Listings:
- By listing products on AlliesFeed, you confirm that you have the right to sell the items and that they do not infringe on any intellectual property rights.
- Do not use copyrighted images or descriptions without permission. All listings should be your original content.
- Branding and Trademarks:
- Ensure that any branding or trademarked material used complies with applicable intellectual property laws.
- Do not use the AlliesFeed logo or trademarks without explicit permission.
7. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
- Legal Compliance:
- Ensure that all products listed comply with applicable laws, including health and safety standards, consumer rights, and import/export regulations.
- Provide accurate information on product labels, warnings, and usage instructions.
- Disputes:
- Handle customer complaints and disputes professionally and promptly. AlliesFeed may mediate in case of unresolved issues.
8. Prohibited Items
- Prohibited Products:
- Do not list items that are counterfeit, illegal, stolen, or hazardous.
- Do not sell prescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, or items that promote violence or discrimination.
- Sensitive Topics:
- Do not sell items that are political, religious, or culturally sensitive without appropriate disclaimers and age restrictions if necessary.
9. Modifications to Policy
- AlliesFeed reserves the right to update this Seller Policy at any time. We recommend that sellers review this policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.
10. Disputes and Termination
- Account Suspension or Termination:
- AlliesFeed reserves the right to suspend or terminate a seller’s account if they violate this policy or if issues such as repeated shipping problems or unsatisfactory customer service arise.
- Serious violations may result in legal action or reporting to relevant authorities.
